Mrs. Jena Aspden

I am the Theatre, Speech, Journalism and PAL teacher at Otto. I have been at Otto since it opened in 2010. Before that, I taught for 10 years at Robinson Middle School.

I grew up in Grove, Oklahoma. After graduating in 1995, I went on to Oklahoma State University, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Education and endorsements in Speech and Theatre. While at OSU, I met my husband, Tony. We married right after graduation in 2000. We now have two beautiful children. Aaron, who is passionate about his French Horn/Mellophone and all things band, and Skylar, who is passionate about competitive cheerleading.

I am persuing my Masters Degree in School Counseling as well as LPC from Texas A&M Commerce.

When not involved in activities with my children, I enjoy quilting, reading, and watching football.
