Although originally from Sacramento, I have lived in Murphy with my wife and two sons (10 and 5) since 2008 along with our goldendoodle, Gilly (2 years old). I attended the University of California, San Diego for undergraduate school and was brought out to Texas in 2006 for business school at UT Austin where I received my MBA with a concentration in finance in 2008.

Prior to pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher, I worked in mergers and acquisitions as well as general corporate finance at AT&T and corporate strategy at Golden 1 Credit Union.
