The course consists of a year-long, survey of world history. Each unit will focus on a particular time period of world history and the major themes that help define it. Civilizations outside of Europe such as East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Americas will also be covered in depth. Students will gather data from research, interpret data, draw conclusions from their research and data, and will present it in multiple formats such as written, visual, and oral presentations.

All students will have access to our class textbook. The book is available as an electronic eBook and there will be a classroom set of textbooks. If you prefer a hardcopy of the textbook, please see the teacher and one will be checked out to you.
