Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

I am thrilled to serve Otto as the Special Education Department Head. This is my 18th year in education and 15 of those have been in the service of students with disabilities. I have worked across the entire range of grade levels, from Kindergarten through the 18+ program and love serving as a voice and support for those with special needs. I am a north Texas native, graduating from Allen High School and The University of North Texas with my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. I then went on to receive my master's degree from Lamar University in the area of Educational Leadership. My wife is a proud PESH alum and has also dedicated her professional life to special education and disability services as a teacher and diagnostician. I have an incredible daughter who is an accomplished figure skater and participates in the Best Buddy program at her school. 

I look forward to getting to know all of the wonderful students here at Otto!
