This is my 30th year in Secondary Education.  18 years of my teaching career have been in inner-city London schools, where I have taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to AP standards.  Before coming to Texas, I was in charge of a large, thriving Science department where many of our students went to prestigious colleges to pursue Science courses.  We also started a vocational Science program to ensure success for all students and worked with the local science and technology industry to find work placements. My education journey continued in Plano, where most recently I was teaching Chemistry and APES at Jasper.

I switched roles this year after completing a Masters in School Counseling. I want to ignite the passion for learning in the students I support as well as help them grow as caring leaders who can navigate through their lives by helping establish skills that will help them thrive in the future.  I am excited about my first year at Vines High School. Having three children all gone through education in Plano and graduating successfully from PSHS.  I am excited about the opportunity to help students grow academically and emotionally and to be the best version of themselves.
