Mr. Felipe Vargas
Greeting Frankford Family!
It is with great excitement that I am writing to you as the new principal of Frankford Middle School. I started my career in education as a secondary social studies teacher and coach. While teaching U.S. history, I began to feel an overpowering patriotic call to serve my country. I then resigned from teaching and enlisted in the U.S. Army as a signal officer. In 2010-11, I deployed to Afghanistan and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. After five years of honorable service, I decided to return to the education profession.
For the past ten years, I have served as a campus administrator at elementary, middle, and high school levels. Prior to being named Principal at Frankford Middle School, I served as an assistant principal at Plano West Senior High School. My life’s work has been dedicated to advancing learning for all and improving campuses through cultivating relationships, shaping culture, implementing systems and structures, and providing instructional leadership.
As principal, I am deeply committed to the success and well-being of our students, teachers, staff, and the Frankford community as a whole. Your support and partnership is invaluable, and by working together, we can continuously improve and enhance the educational experience we want for our students.
Sincerely,
Felipe Vargas
