Hello! My name is Julie La, and this will be my first year as an art teacher at Frankford Middle School! I have attended Plano schools most of my life (Stinson, Murphy, Williams, McMillen, and PESH), and I majored in Arts and Technology with a minor in Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Dallas. Before teaching, I worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for young children and a children’s coach at CrossFit Wylie. 

Nothing makes me happier than seeing children succeed, whether small or big. Making a positive impact on children brings no greater joy. I’m excited and incredibly honored to begin my teaching journey at Frankford Middle School and to be surrounded by excellent and supportive teachers and staff! 

In my off time, I enjoy drawing, creating 3D art, exercising, and being with my toy poodle, Nora!
