Thanks for visiting my page. I have had 25 years experience in teaching students from grades K to 6. I'm happy to work with 7th graders in math this year at Frankford. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and I have a masters' degree from UT Arlington in Curriculum and Instruction. I enjoy helping students to become confident in problem solving and calculation and integrating art and science into math curriculum. At home I have two daughters. My nineteen year-old is a freshman in college this year and my sixteen year-old is a high school junior at Reedy high school in Frisco. Originally I'm from a town near Rochester, NY so I usually don't complain about any inclement winter weather! If you'd like to talk Bills Football, I'll recap the games with you this fall.
My Why: I aim to provide a positive learning environment that's comfortable for kids and to teach them prosocial behaviors that'll help them connect with their peers. I'd like my children and students to see me as a positive role model who has shown resilience in the face of adversity.
