Ms. Bridget Cappotelli

Thanks for visiting my page. I have had 27 years experience teaching students from grades K to 8. I'm happy to work with 6th graders in math this year at Frankford. I'll also teach a couple sections of science in a resource setting. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and I have a masters' degree from UT Arlington in Curriculum and Instruction.   I have two daughters. My 22- year-old daughter is working in Norman, OK and graduated from OU this past May.  My younger daughter is a freshman at OU this year.  Originally, I'm from a town near Rochester, NY so I usually don't complain about any inclement winter weather! If you'd like to talk Bills Football, I'll recap the games with you this fall.

My Why: I enjoy helping students to become confident in problem solving and calculation and integrating art and science into math curriculum.  I provide a positive learning environment that's comfortable for kids and teach them prosocial behaviors that'll help them connect with their peers. I'd like my children and students to see me as a positive role model who has shown resilience in the face of adversity.
