Highly Creative Visual Communications leader with over a decade of enriching experience in the Visual & Performing Arts, I have dedicated my career to fostering creativity and a deep appreciation for art & communication in all its forms. I am currently serving as our Visual Arts Lead & Campus Liaison for Communications, Public Relations, and Social Media. 

In the realm of education, I am proud to deliver high-quality visual arts education to a diverse body of students across various levels, including Studio Art, Advanced 2D & 3D Arts, and our Student Social Media Team. My teaching approach is deeply rooted in critical thinking and discussion-based lesson plans, incorporating Do-Now, Write To Learn, and Exit Ticket strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. My special areas of concentration include not only traditional art forms like drawing and painting but also sculpture, ceramics, photography, and videography - enriched with lessons in art criticism, communication, and the intersection of art and music within entertainment and film.

I have a beautiful aussie named Maggie - she is my everything! I love to attend all things VPA - art galleries, concerts, plays, and the movie theater! I love to cook, travel, spend quality time with family and friends - and somehow find time to relax. 

I am currently accepting chocolate and homemade tamales for teacher appreciation :)
