Mrs. Candy Waller
I grew up in Kilgore, Texas and graduated from Kilgore High School. I received my Bachelor's of Business Administration from Baylor University. After working in the business world for a number of years, I began substituting at my sons' schools. I substituted for 10 years before teaching full-time at Frankford. This is my 11th year at Frankford.
My husband and I have 3 sons who went through Plano schools - Hightower, Frankford, Shepton and Plano West. Our oldest graduated from Texas A&M University, while our middle son received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Arkansas. Our youngest son is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
My Why: I teach because education is the road to the future. I want my students to know they are loved and that they have someone who believes in them and sees their potential. I want my students to have confidence in themselves and to realize that with hard work, they can accomplish their goals.
