Hello! My name is Jennifer Parker, and I am beyond excited about beginning a new year as a part of the Frankford Middle School family. I absolutely cannot wait to meet you and your family and am so happy to be able to work with these students during the 2022/2023 school year. I teach Family and Consumer Science (Skills & Career and Life & College Readiness). I have over 15 years of teaching in a classroom with younger children and was a substitute teacher in PISD for the last year and a half. I taught Pre-Kindergarten for five years, three and 4-year-olds for the other ten, and managed a summer camp program for school-aged children for numerous summers as well.
I grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano East Senior High. I now live in Allen with my son, Dylan, who is entering 11th grade this year, and my cat, Bellatrix. I attended Texas Woman's University and received my bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, music, arts and crafts, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with my family.
My Why:
To inspire, support, nurture and encourage my students to be who they are. To create a mentally and physically safe space to explore and create, build connections, have the ability to work with others, and love learning.
