Hello!
My name is Jennifer Parker, and this will be my 5th year here at Frankford. I am so excited to be teaching Skills and Career Readiness and Principles of Human Services. Additionally, I will oversee the yearbook committee this year! So exciting! I have over 20 years of experience in early childhood, substitute teaching, and my four years here at Frankford as the Family and Consumer Science teacher. Teaching and working with kids is my passion, and I love helping students build their skills and knowledge so that they can make informed decisions about their future.
I grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano East Senior High. I now live in Allen with my son, Dylan, and my cat, Bellatrix. I attended Texas Woman's University and received my bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, music, arts and crafts, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with my family.
I am looking forward to a great year!
My Why:
To inspire, support, nurture and encourage my students to be who they are. To create a mentally and physically safe space to explore and create, build connections, have the ability to work with others, and love learning.
