Hello Broncos! This will be my sixth year working in Plano ISD and third year at Barksdale Elementary as a member of the Special Education Team. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but I moved to Texas in 2004 to attend school. I graduated from the University of Rio de Janeiro with a degree in Literature and, after moving to Texas, I attended the University of North Texas. I graduated in 2020. I have two wonderful children, Lucas and Dylan, who are both Plano ISD students. Our family enjoys going on long road trips, camping, hiking, and all things outdoors. Watching movies is also one of my passions, and I used to write movie reviews for a newspaper in Brazil, something that I hope I'll get to do again sometime. I am looking forward to a wonderful year at Barksdale!
