Hello! My name is Elizabeth Mokry and this is my 5th year here at Barksdale.  I have previously taught Art, Music & Spanish in Minnesota, Florida and New Mexico. I have also worked as a professional Artist showing in galleries, and I am so fortunate that I am living my dream of inspiring the next generation of Artists.   I've traveled the world to see great Art and I'm excited to pass along my knowledge of Art History and Art from other cultures.

My husband and I have been married 38 years and have a son and daughter and are happy to be grandparents of 3 grandsons and a granddaughter.

I love to travel, read books, hike and eat good food!
