I am originally from India.  I moved to the US in 1989.  I worked and studied at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  I moved to Plano in 1998. Both my children went to Plano ISD. My son lives in California and my daughter is in Law School. My husband is a CAPP (Citizens Assisting Plano Police) member and loves it! I have a Masters Degree in Special Education, a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. I was an active PTA mom when my children were in school.  I was a Substitute Teacher for 14 years before I joined Plano ISD as a full-time teacher. I love Barksdale Elementary and I enjoy working with elementary students. They keep me smiling and feeling young! My hobbies are: reading mystery novels, watching courtroom drama on Netflix, gardening, sewing, beading, playing with my dog.
