Charlley Phan

 

Hello!

My name is Charlley Phan and this will be my second year here at Barksdale! I have been in education for about 8 years, and I am excited about being a 5th grade teacher here at Barksdale. I was the first in my family to graduate from high school, college, and graduate school. I received my Bachelor's of Science in interdisciplinary studies at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2015, received my Masters in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019, and I have obtained my second Masters in Library Science at Texas Woman's University this past year.

A little about me--I enjoy learning new things, traveling, reading, and being with my family. I am the oldest of 3 sisters, I have one dog, and I enjoy drinking coffee! I also have a son named Nolan, and he is the newest addition to the family! 

I am passionate about teaching and growing to be a better person for yourself and others every day. I am looking forward to being a part of this wonderful community!
