My name is Emily Rodriguez, and I'm the Art teacher at Shepard Elementary! I am a graduate of Texas A&M University of Commerce with teaching certifications in General Education and Art. This will be my 11th year in Plano ISD, and I love having the opportunity to foster the natural curiosity and creativity of children. I believe my own life-long appreciation for visual art helps me encourage my students to take creative risks and display self-expression. I love teaching young artists as they explore different mediums and develop valuable ​problem-solving skills!
