Beth Spaulding M.Ed

Mrs. Spaulding began her career in education in 2006 as a paraprofessional for special education. During her time as a para, she earned an Associate of Arts from Collin College and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a teaching certification in 4-8 ELAR from The University of Texas at Dallas. Upon graduating in 2012, Mrs. Spaulding began teaching 6-8 resource language arts and reading. She earned her M. Ed. in special education in November of 2020. The 2021-22 school year presented the opportunity for Mrs. Spaulding to leave the special education classroom and to join Plano ISD’s dyslexia therapist training program through Scottish Rite and Take Flight.  She gaduated from Take Flight training in the Spring of 2023 and is currently working towards earning her CALT certification. Mrs. Spaulding’s mission in education is to ensure that all students, regardless of their learning differences, are given equal opportunities to experience success in their education. She advocates for her students and works with them to learn the skills necessary to advocate for themselves as well. It is her hope to see her students achieve beyond their self-imposed limits and to empower them to rise to all challenges they may face.
