I've been asked, "Why are you a teacher?" It's easy! There's a real need to help the recent immigrants to our country. If we want to continue to be a proud nation that welcomes immigrants, this daughter of an immigrant wants to do her part by teaching the English language and helping kids enjoy and succeed in their new country.

  • Frankford is the place to be for middle school students who are new to the country or new to the English language.

    I teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking to newcomers with little to no English knowledge. These kids are creative, funny, interesting, and respectful. They're a great group and this will be my 16th year in education and my 8th at Frankford.

    In my spare time, I'll be traveling, cycling, or playing pickleball...or maybe just watching Netflix. Feel free to give me your recommendations!  It's going to be another great year here at Frankford and I look forward to working with your kids.
