Hello Frankford Students & Parents! Welcome to the 2024-25 school year!!! This is my 9th year at Frankford Middle School and 14th year as an Educator!  I once achieved success in the corporate world, but came to realize our communities' most precious goods are our students! They are indeed our FUTURE! Trust, respect, and patience are an integral part of my teaching approach. I believe mistakes foster growth, and that students have many strengths and pathways to learning. I hope to impress upon our students the Arts in Language Arts, and the Fun in Reading! Most importantly, I believe in our students, and promise to empower them to believe in themselves, their abilities and future ambitions ⇾ The lifelong learners and successful citizens they deserve to become; open to a world of possibilities!

I'm a native Texan, a UT-Dallas Alumna and a proud Frankford Falcon who embraces our diverse student body and faculty. Along with teaching, I enjoy the company of my husband, Mr. Edel, our family and friends, and especially our pet Parrotlet, Cosmo. I taught him how to say, "I Love You!", and I truly think he does! I also enjoy all other creatures-great and small, the outdoors, dining-out, music, theatre, and le cinéma.
