What is it? What do we do?

  • Makerspace is a fun way to do a variety of activities and projects in the library during each classroom's library time. The activities range from individual and group projects. Below is a list of a few of the items we use during makerspace.

  • Snap Circuits

    Snap Circuits makes learning electronics easy and fun! Just follow the colorful pictures in our manual and build exciting projects such as AM radios, burglar alarms, doorbell,s and much more!

  • Osmo

    Osmo is an award-winning game system that will change the way your child interacts with the iPad and iPhone by opening them up to hands-on play.

  • Dash and Dot

    Dash is a real robot, charged and ready to play out of the box. Responding to voice, navigating objects, dancing, and singing, Dash is the robot you always dreamed of having. Use Wonder, Blockly, and other apps to create new behaviors for Dash — doing more with robotics than ever possible. No books or camps needed!

  • Makedo

    Makedo is a cardboard construction system for 21st century thinking, making, and play.

     

  • Little Bits

    Little Bits makes a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks empowering everyone to create inventions, large and small.
