Mrs. Stephanie Turano

Hello! My name is Stephanie Turano, and I am THRILLED to be on the Barksdale team as a fourth grade teacher!  I was born and raised in North Texas, and most of my family (parents and nine brothers and sisters) still live in the area.  I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2002, then came right back to the metroplex to start my teaching career.  Over my 19-year teaching career, I have taught in Garland ISD, Coppell ISD, and then found my way to Plano, where I have stayed ever since.  In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and 3 daughters who are in 4th, 7th, and 8th grades at Barksdale and Renner!  I can't wait to meet you all!  Let's get this year started! Go Broncos!
