I am a Texas native and grew up in Midland. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1992  with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English. This will be my 24th year of teaching. Before coming to Plano ISD in 2015, I taught in Midland ISD, Birdville ISD, Trinity Christian Academy (Addison), and Frisco ISD. I am married and have two grown children and a son- in-law. In my free time I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, watching college sports, working at my ranch, and playing with my two dogs.
