I teach 7th grade English and Yearbook here at Renner. I am also the English department chair. This will be my 16th year teaching, and I am ready for the challenges that this school year will bring.  I look forward to getting to know my students and teaching them to analyze literature and become better writers. I have a bachelor's degree in English Literature Analysis from The University of North Texas, I have taught English, Reading, and yearbook in Garland, Lewisville, Frisco, and Plano. This year will be my 7th year in Plano ISD, and I could not be more proud to be a part of this district. 

I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 21 years.  We have three children that all attend Plano schools.  Our twins (Maddox and Zane: 12) are in 6th grade at Renner.  Our daughter Ash (20) is currently working and taking a gap year to figure out her path. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, diy building projects, working out, visiting friends, travel, and writing.
