I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA where I started playing the double bass in 6th grade Beginning Orchestra.  I recieved my bachelor's degree in Music Education from Stetson University in DeLand, FL.  From there, I moved to Las Vegas to begin my teaching career where I lived and taught orchestra for 14 years.  Four years ago, family and friends persuaded me to move here to Plano, TX and I am so glad I did!  I love this area and love teaching at Renner Middle School.  I also love being closer with my family, I love my dogs, I love ice cream and tacos!
