Hello parents and students! My name is Mr. Foos and I am teaching Math 8 as well as Honors Algebra at Renner this year. This is my first year at Renner and in Texas as I just recently moved in July 2024 from Washington State. I love the weather and the food so far, but miss my mountains and nature! I have experienced teaching all ages, K-12, but most of my time was with business and marketing courses at the high school level. I also have a love for coaching sports like soccer, track & field, and basketball. Seeing students learn to love the grind involved in sport and competition is what drove me to becoming a teacher. I hope to spread that same passion in our academics so that my students can become successful young adults with a foundational understanding of mathematics.
