Hola!

My name is Yadi Merchan and I teach Spanish 7, Spanish 3H and 4AP. I am from Chihuahua, Mexico and move to the USA when I was a teenager. My favorite hobby is travelling and I am working towards knowing half of the world's countries right now.   I have taught High School Spanish in Plano and I am very excited to continue teaching Middle School this year. I think learning a second language gives students a great advantage and opens up a new world personally and professionally. I like sharing my experiences as a language learner and my culture with them.

Mi nombre es Yadi Merchan y enseño español 7, español 3H y 4AP. Soy de Chihuahua, México y me mudé a los Estados Unidos cuando era una adolescente. Mi pasatiempo favorito es viajar y estoy trabajando en conocer la mitad de los paises del mundo en este momento. He enseñado español en la escuela preparatoria en Plano y estoy muy emocionada de continuar enseñando en la escuela secundaria este año. Creo que aprender un segundo idioma les da a los estudiantes una gran ventaja y les abre un nuevo mundo, tanto personal como profesionalmente. Me gusta compartir mis experiencias al aprender un idioma y mi cultura con los estudiantes.
