After graduating from Plano Senior High School, I enrolled in the University of North Texas and earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in 2001. I earned my Master's Degree, also from UNT, in 2006 in the area of Curriculum and Instruction.  After teaching English for many years, I am now the 7th and 8th grade PACE/History teacher.  Middle school is my "Goldilocks" zone, and this is my 9th year at Renner.  Go Mustangs!  Previously, I taught 6th and 7th grade Language Arts at Carpenter Middle School.  

In my free time I like to play the piano, listen to music, cook, read (especially historical biographies), and spend as much time outdoors as possible!  My husband Scott and I are celebrating our 23rd anniversary this year. We love traveling to state and national parks with our 2 amazing kids, Sophie (17) and Jack (14).
