I love being a Renner Mustang!  In 2000, I started my educational career as a bilingual elementary teacher in Richardson.  After a year, I made my way to Plano and taught 5th grade for several years at Hickey Elementary.  I started as a bilingual teacher and ended my time there as a PACE ELA/social studies teacher.   I made my way to to Renner in 2019, and I'm so happy to be here!  I am the AVID coordinator and truly love this position.  

After growing up in Oregon, I decided to move out to Texas to enjoy the sunshine and attend SMU.  I continued my education and earned a master's degree in curriculum and instruction at UNT.  Learning has always been a passion of mine.  Outside of the classroom, I enjoy dancing, yoga, reading, completing logic puzzles, and learning new skills.
