I am in my 9th year of teaching and my 7th year as the Associate Director of Bands at Shepton High School. I am also the Music Team Lead for the Shepton High School Music Department. I direct the Symphonic Band and assist with the other concert ensembles and the Shepton Silver Stampede Marching Band. Following high school at Plano West, I attended the University of North Texas and graduated in 2012 with a B.M. in Music Education with a focus in secondary instrumental education. I am a member of TMEA, TBA, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a national music fraternity. I enjoy running, yoga, and I play flute with the Plano Community Band.
