I was born in a small town in Nicaragua, moved to Costa Rica when I was 14, and now I'm living in Texas with my wife and two kids. 

Yes, I love math, but I am also a huge fan of soccer (the true football), trail running, and coffee (good coffee). Life has given me the opportunity to teach mathematics in different settings since 2011. I have taught math to kids in private and public schools, from 5th to 12th grade. Every time I started a new school year, I felt excited about the curiosity and energy that children bring to the classroom. Sure enough, I have the same excitement here at Shepton. 

I'm looking forward to a new beginning, a new school year with vast opportunities for learning, and having fun with it.
