Hello! I am Ian Aigner-Varoz, and I am extremely excited about joining the Shepton High School Band team as the new Associate Director! I am the director of the Wind Symphony and the Shepton Jazz Band. I also work with the "Sound of the Pack" Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and the Symphonic Band.

I am a recent graduate of the University of North Texas, earning my degree in Music Education in December 2023. As a trumpet player, I was involved in many different ensembles during my time at UNT, including the Green Brigade Marching Band, Concert Band, Brass Band, and Wind Ensemble. During the fall of 2023, I served the students of Carroll ISD as their student teacher. I am also a proud alumnus of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, earning the silver medal in 2022. 

I currently serve as a solo cornetist in the Dallas Brass Band. During my free time, I enjoy baking with my partner, Abby, weightlifting, building with LEGO, and walking my Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, Rosie.
