I am so excited to be a part of the Shepton Family. This is my 12th year in education, and one thing that has never changed is my desire to help students and their families. I spent the first 10 years in Elementary, where I was able to serve my campuses in several different capacities. I spent my first three years working in special education, then two years in first grade, and seven years in third grade. During this time, I was able to support my campuses as a UIL coordinator, Hope Squad coordinator, and team lead. Last year I had the privilege of serving as a Special Education department chair at a middle school in Frisco. I am a graduate of Dallas Baptist University, but I consider myself to be a life-long learner and enjoy pushing myself to find different and new exciting ways in which we can reach the students we serve.
I am looking forward to working with all of you in order to continue developing the strong Shepton culture that is evident the moment you walk through the doors of our school. We have amazing students and staff on our campus, and I cannot wait to see the growth that will no doubt take place this year. My door is always open if you need anything.
