I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York, where I was inspired by the nearby National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID). This unique opportunity connected me to the Deaf community in a way that felt like discovering my own Hogwarts. I gained the confidence and sense of identity I had been searching for.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in a biomedical lab. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I started homeschooling my children. This experience ignited a passion for teaching, leading me to transition into a high school teaching role just a year later.
In my free time, I love hiking, camping, rock climbing, and playing video games. I also enjoy drawing and painting, reflecting my many hobbies and interests.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I cherish my husband and our three children—two boys and a baby girl. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants, savoring different cuisines, and indulging in boba drinks.
