Mr. Raymond Wilson

Hello, my name is Raymond Wilson, and I am excited for my first year here at Shepton! I was born in a small town outside of Seattle, Washington, and after moving around to a few different places, my family settled down in Bedford, Texas, where I lived until I graduated college. I went to the University of Texas at Arlington, where I studied English Education and minored in Spanish and Math.

After college, I joined an education program by the Spanish government, and I taught English in a village in southern Spain for two years. Then I taught kindergarten in a small farm town in South Korea for a year. I returned to Texas to study Spanish Translation, and once I completed my program, I taught English online to children in China while traveling through Mexico and Europe.

In 2019, I moved to the big city of Seoul, South Korea, where I taught kindergarten again for 5 years. I had an excellent time meeting lots of new people and traveling around the world. Recently, I decided to move back to Texas to spend more time with my family, and I am looking forward to being a part of the Shepton High School community!

Welcome to ESOL 2 for the 2024-2025 school year!
