Michelle Byrd loves her job of teaching 6th grade English Language Arts and Reading at Murphy! As a founding member of the Murphy staff since 2003, Michelle believes in this school, the community, and the students that attend our wonderful campus. During class time, she enjoys building a community of learners who strive to improve in reading and writing.  Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog, Fred. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, being outside, spending time with family, and attending concerts.
