I am so grateful to be part of the Murphy Maverick team this year.  Over my 20-year teaching career, I have taught everything from pre-k to 8th grade.  It is such a privilege to work with students at any level, but middle school is my favorite age to teach.  Although this is my first year at Murphy, I have taught special education in the district for the last 4 years.  When I am not at school, I love spending time with my daughters, Hannah and Samantha.  They are both at the University of North Texas, sharing an apartment in Denton.  I also have 2 furry kiddos at home that keep me busy.  I am excited to be here and looking forward to a great year.
