Hi there! I'm Theresa Zdorov, and I am immensely proud to be a part of the Murphy Middle School team as a Maverick. I've been with Plano ISD and MMS for the past eight years. I am a 7th-grade Resource ELAR teacher and TX History Inclusion Support Teacher. This is my 1st year in this role. Last school year, I was a Structured Special Education Teacher in the Achieve Classroom.  I started as a paraprofessional inclusion support teacher, assisting the teacher in the Elevate classroom and beginning my journey in special education. PISD has allowed me to further my education through the QuEST program.  

I grew up in Richardson, Texas, and attended Jess Harben Elementary, Liberty Junior High, and Berkner High School. After high school, I pursued my degree at the Art Institute of Dallas. I have been happily married to my husband, Roman, for 23 years, and we have two sons, Nicholas, who graduated, and Ian, in the ninth grade at McMillen High School. My favorite pastime is watching my boys play baseball, and I also enjoy watching the Texas Rangers play. Aside from spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, zumba, dancing, shopping, crafting, and art. We all love to travel as a family.
