I'm from Louisiana, started work in a doctor office as a medical assistant for 12 years, and am now back in the school system after 20 years. I want to further my career by helping students to achieve their goals, with many words of encouragement. As an ISS assistant, I make sure the students are safe, and let them know I'm there for them, because all the students want is someone to listen to them, and a good listener is truly a gift, especially when someone just wants a listening ear.
