This will be my 16th year in education and second year here at Renner. I am excited to start this next chapter of your child's journey as their math teacher. Previously, I have taught in many cities here in Texas as well as Hawaii. Through those experiences, I have developed a passion for students at the middle school level. It is my goal to help develop critical thinking skills for all my students as they embark on this journey of becoming strong mathematicians. Having taught both 7th and 8th grade math and Algebra I, I will challenge your student to think in ways they have never thought before when it comes to math class. Your student will be pushed and challenged to reach high expectations as I know he/she can get there. 

Although we reside in the North Texas area, I am a Houston girl through and through. Yes, this means we are HUGE University of Houston, Astros and Texans fans! During my free time outside of school, you will find my daughter and I traveling to cheer on my 21-year-old son at his college baseball games. We enjoy spending time as a family, whether it's watching sports, a movie or a competitive game night. 

I look forward to getting to know each of my students as the year progresses. A partnership between myself and parents plays a critical role in the success of each student. Therefore, I also look forward to working with you to make this a successful year!
