I’m a proud Texan who grew up in Plano and attended Plano ISD schools throughout all of my K-12 years. I earned both my bachelors and masters at the University of North Texas, and I’m entering my 12th year in education. Prior to becoming a school librarian, I taught English Language Arts in both elementary and middle schools.
I led the life of an army wife for more than 22 years, and thanks to Uncle Sam, I’ve had the privilege of living in Alaska, Germany, and Japan. My husband of 37 years and I have five children and nine grandchildren. It will come as no surprise that I love reading, and I look forward to reading and recommending books written for high school students.
I'm excited about beginning my journey here at Shepton, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of the Wolfpack!
