Hello Maverick family! My name is Mrs. Adams.  This is my 25th year in fine arts education.  I am currently teaching Intro to Art for grades 6th -8th grades.  I also teach Yearbook and the new 6th grade Future Ready course and am the MMS Cheer coach.  I was previously the art teacher at Hunt Elementary since the doors opened in 2005, and for five years at Sigler Elementary prior.  I look forward to an amazing year with all my students, yearbook staff and my Maverick Cheer squad.

I have had the pleasure of teaching both of my sons' art at Hunt Elementary from Kinder-5th Grade.  Since I am a Plano East graduate, I am excited that they have both carried on the East Side tradition. My boys, Hunter and Jase, both attended Murphy Middle and were part of the football program and music programs.  Hunter graduated from Texas Tech in December 2022, and Jase graduated from Plano East in 2023.  I am a proud PESH Panther and Texas Tech Alumni with a lot of school pride.  I enjoy spending time with friends; my husband Brandon and my pugs, Zoey and Coco.
