Hello Rice Ravens!

I am so happy to be here at Rice to teach you! I get to teach 8th Grade Science and 8th Grade Honors Science. This is my 18th year teaching science. I have taught in both high school and middle school. I have taught in both public and private schools. I have a lot of experience with all different sorts of learners and science classes. I am so excited to meet each of you and get to know you! My primary goal and focus is the success of my students! If you need help or have questions and concerns, please let me know. I want to help!

My Why: I want to make a difference in my students’ lives by connecting with them and helping them make the best choices for maximum success in school and life.

    There is at least one 8th grade science teacher available each day for tutoring.  Please take advantage of going when other teachers are available. They want to help you too. If it's something you don't understand, you may actually benefit from having another teacher explain it to you. The tutorial schedule is posted on your GC. I may also be available at other times. Please just check in with me and we will find a time.
