This is my eighth year as an ESL Specialist in Plano and my fourth year at Rice Middle School. I am married, and I have two children-- my daughter is finishing graduate school at Arizone State, and my son just graduated from Oklahoma State with a degree in Aviation.  Originally, I am from Mississippi, but I have lived in Texas on and off since 1990.  My teaching career began in Fort Wort, Texas, but I took a few years off to stay home with my children. I re-entered the teaching profession in De Queen, Arkansas where I taught 11th grade English and Composition I and II at a local community college.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and reading the latest John Grisham novel.  I am excited to be a part of the Rice Family.
