Hello Ravens! I am thrilled to be your child's science teacher at Rice this year. I love watching my students grow and become confident throughout their time in my classroom.

I grew up in Plano, and actually attended Rice during my middle school years. I have a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from TCU (Go Frogs!). I have taught both math and science in 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th grade throughout my career, but 6th grade stole my heart!

My passions include making science engaging, collaborative, and rich with discussion in a safe and open-minded environment. Outside the classroom, I love playing with my dog, Eddie, watching college football with my husband, and running.
