Ms. Lorrie Weidenbruch

I've been in education for the past 29 years, 17 of these at Rice Middle School. I teach 6th grade ELAR, and I am delighted to work with these budding readers and writers.  I am co-sponsor of the Rice Middle School Creative Writing Club.  Previously at Rice, I've taught 7th grade on-level, honors, and PACE English.  My past experience includes teaching Freshman and Sophomore Composition and serving as the Co-Director of the Spring Creek Campus Writing Center at Collin College.  I also taught Freshman and Advanced Composition and Novel Studies at the University of Maryland. I've loved my experiences working with students of all ages and levels, collaborating with them on their reading and writing journeys and witnessing their progress honing their craft.
