Hello! I am so excited to be a Rice Raven this year!   This is my first year at Rice.  I am starting my 26th year of teaching.  I have been at Mathews Elementary for 19 of those years.   I am so excited to be starting a new adventure as a middle school teacher.   It's going to be a great year!

I grew up on Long Island, NY.  I attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.  Right after graduation I moved to Texas and started my career in Arlington ISD, before moving to Plano.    

 I live in Plano with my husband, Derek and our two children.  My daughter, Madison is a junior at Plano Senior High. She is a Planoette. My son, Michael is a10th grader at Clark High School.  He is a long snapper for the football team..

 When I am not teaching, I enjoy coffee, reading, crafting, baking, and spending time with my family.
