Hey Ravens! I'm starting my 16th year in education and my 8th year teaching 8th grade US History.  While I am originally from Kansas City (go Royals!), I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to DFW 15 years ago.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas (Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk!).  I have been married for 16 years and have two great daughters that attend PISD, a three-year-old beagle, and an orange tabby kitten. When not working or parenting, I enjoy coaching my kids' sports teams, gardening, home improvement projects, and reading about history, philosophy, and education.
