Hi! My name is Kara Eldredge, and I am so grateful to be beginning my second year with the Rice Raven family! I taught my first three years at Wilson Middle, also in Plano ISD. I teach in the Elevate Classroom and want each student in my room to love being at school! 

I earned both of my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University (Axe ‘em, Jacks!), and a second master's from UT Tyler in Special Education along with my educational diagnostician certification. I am from the deep East Texas area. Prior to teaching, I worked in the radio-television and marketing industries.

My husband's name is Matt and in my free time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, graphic design, baking, reading, and spending time with my sweet family and friends. I have two rescue pups named Murphy and Tripp. I love attending live Broadway musicals. A few of my favorites are Rent, Hamilton, and The Lion King.
