Hi Rice Ravens!

This is my fifth year in education and third year at Rice, and I'm so happy to be here! I grew up in Texas my whole life in this little (but not really) city of Garland. I graduated with my B.A. in English and minor in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at Arlington. I absolutely love literature, so it's fitting that I am the ELAR teacher. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, trying new foods (HUGE foodie), and, of course, reading! I'm excited to see what the school year brings!
