Hello!!  This is my 19th year teaching choir and my 12th year at Rice.  I was honored to be recognized as the Rice Raven 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year.  Rice Middle School is the BEST!!  I love helping our kids find their voices and grow in confidence!  Music is a universal language, and it is an honor for me to teach students the lifelong skills of reading music.

Our choirs have been recognized at the State and National levels and consistently receive Sweepstakes ratings at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest each year.

I love our Rice Choir family and my family at home!  My husband, Matt, and I have been married for 16 years.  We have a 7th grade daughter- Dylan, who loves to dance, and a 3rd grade son- Grayson, who is all about sports!  We love our HUGE Goldendoodle (Birdie).  There is never a dull moment!!

It's going to be a GREAT year for the Rice Choir!!!
